For this project I had to pick a famous portrait then place a picture of my face in place of theirs. Originally I had to put my face on "The Scream" but since i'm a second year student I got to pick which portrait I wanted to do. This project was fun but extremely hard to mimic the scratched and missing paint on the original piece.

Social Commentary Celebrity Warhol  Self Portrait Roy Lichtenstein These are my Pop Art assignments the first one is a box a kraft mac n cheese because it spoke to me like a can of soup. The second is Kanye West in a Warhol looking picture. I used a bunch of separate filters in elements 10 then applied them to 4 pictures of Kanye. My third is a portrait of me in a Lichtenstein looking photo. I don't have a mouth because it looked weird when I applied it to the picture. I thought of it as an artistic message I guess.
